Steve Wells
General Manager
Steve
retired from the United States
Air Force, serving throughout
the world, finally retiring at
Barksdale Air Force Base in
Bossier City, Louisiana. He
owned and operated a fitness
center in Heber Springs for
three and a half years; it was
the first fitness center to be
opened in Heber Springs and had
about 350 members. He has a
degree from Arkansas State
University in Liberal Arts,
emphasizing on Business
Management and Sociology. He has
been with the HART Center since
December 2005. Steve brings to
the HART Center experience,
knowledge and dedication.
He has
been involved with fitness for
over 30 years and is here to
serve your fitness goals.

Susan Hipp
Office Manager
She comes to us from the
Greers Ferry area. Prior to
starting at the HART center,
Susan worked 11 1/2 years in
the chiropractic field
gaining valuable medical
office skills. While at
this job, she also gained
experience and knowledge in
the field of nutrition.
Susan began her service at
the HART center upon our
opening and has earned her
way from Front Desk
Attendant to our Office
Manager.
As Office manager, Susan
oversees the daily
operations of our front
counter and pro shop. She
is also responsible for
membership and stock sales,
office accounting, and
member service. When not at
work Susan enjoys singing in
her church choir and
spending time with her
family. She is a self
proclaimed shopaholic.

Misty Wilkins
Fitness Coordinator/Certified
Personal Trainer
Misty has been working in the
fitness field for several years.
She is a Certified Personal
Trainer through ACE (American
Council on Exercise). She
is available for personal
training, fitness testing,
setting up exercise programs,
and orientating new members to
the strength and cardio
equipment. Misty also
oversees the aerobic class
programs. She instructs
step aerobics, buns, abs, and
total body toning classes.
In addition, she coordinates
special events for the HART
Center including the annual 5k
Run/Walk and the "Fun Olympics".
She will help you reach your
personal fitness goals.

Natalie Horton
Step Aerobics Instructor
Natalie is
a graduate of Arkansas Tech
University and Texas A&M
University where she received
degrees in education and
educational psychology. While
attending these universities she
participated in step aerobics
trainings and classes. She
teaches the evening step
aerobics classes and would love
to help you meet your fitness
goals with a great cardio
workout!

Nathan Moudy
Fitness Trainer
Nathan is a fitness trainer
currently working on his
Personal Trainers Certification.
He has been practicing fitness
for 3 years and is very
knowledgeable about nutrition
and workout programs.
Nathan also leads total body
toning classes at the HART
Center and he would be happy to
help you reach your goals. You

Barbara Hite
Aquatic Director
Barbara hails from Toronto
Ontario Canada. She
graduated from Etobicoke high
school with a Certified Dental
Assistant Diploma. Barbara
attended the Ontario Bible
College majoring in Religious
education. After she
married, her husband joined the
Navy, which started her career
as a swimming instructor over 30
years ago. Barbara has
since obtained many credentials
in her field. She is an
Instructor Trainer for the Red
Cross in Water Safety.
Lifeguard Training, CPR for the
professional, and First Aid.
Barbara is also an instructor
with the Aquatic Education
Association and Arthritic
foundation in addition to being
a certified pool and spa
operator.
Barbara managed many of the Navy
pool facilities at the bases
where her husband was stationed.
At one base she managed nine
pools and two beaches. She
also was on the boards of the
American Red Cross at these
bases as the Health and Safety
Coordinator. In London,
England Barbara started the
American Red Cross chapter there
and was the manager of that
office. She was also the
Health and Safety Coordinator
for the Baton Rouge American Red
Cross before coming to Fairfield
Bay.

Suzann Hipp
Front Counter Attendant
Suzann is a student at UCA and
CBC in Conway, Arkansas.
She is working her way through
school. You will find her
assisting members at the front
desk. Stop by and say
hello!

Donna Campbell
Custodian
Donna keeps the HART Center a
clean, healthy, and happy place
to be. She recently moved
home from the Memphis area.
She also keeps the staff
informed of new cleaning
products and sanitation
standards. |

Danny
Tai-Chi Instructor
Danny instructs Tai-Chi classes
at the HART Center. Tai-Chi
training is intended to teach
awareness of one's own balance,
and what affects it, awareness
of the same in others, an
appreciation of the practical
value in one's ability to
moderate extremes of behavior
and attitude at both mental and
physical levels, and how this
applies to effective
self-defense principles.
He owns Infinite Change Company
and is a leader in the field of
health and well being systems.
He has studied Tai Chi and other
forms of martial arts for 17
years. Dan now resides outside
of Clinton, where he and his
lovely wife Brenda enjoy growing
vegetables and petting their
Australian Shepard/Siberian
Husky named Shanti and their
Japanese bobtail cat named
Paleo.

Sara Michael
Certified Yoga Instructor
Sara Michael is a certified yoga
instructor living and teaching
in Arkansas. She has studied
with a wide range of spiritual
and yoga teachers over the last
fifteen years attending
workshops, retreats and classes.
Sara left her sales career in
1990 to pursue the call of her
heart and soul. She has studied
both western and eastern
philosophies extensively and has
explored the natural path of
shamanism. For Sara, all paths
have come together and in her
classes, retreats, and
individual sessions, she
presents that which is universal
to us all. Drawing upon
her own life journey, and a deep
desire to help others discover
their true nature and experience
their inherent joy of life, Sara
teaches from heart and soul. Her
enthusiasm, her compassion, and
her own joy are revealed in her
interaction with those who work
with her.
Sara now teaches yoga classes,
holds yoga retreats and
workshops, provide individual
yoga instruction, and
facilitates
individual sessions of
self-exploration and the
spiritual walk. Her DVD/CD set,

Lori Phillips
Board Licensed Massage
TherapistLori received
her Massage Therapy Diploma from
White River School of Massage in
August 1996. She received her
State Board License in September
of 1996. She then went on to
receive her National
Certification for Therapeutic
Massage and Bodywork in November
